********** THE TIP **********

Duplicate slide object formatting using the Format Painter tool

in PowerPoint (97/2000/2002/v. X/2003)

If your slides contain many objects that need to be formatted in

the same way, such as AutoShapes with text in them, you can use

the Format Painter tool to save you some time. Using this tool

you can simply format one object the way you like, including

color, border thickness, font size and text, etc., and then click

the Format Painter button (looks like a paintbrush) found in the

Standard toolbar. Click on the object whose formatting properties

you want to duplicate. The pointer arrow then displays a small

paintbrush icon next to it. When you click on another object, the

formatting contained in the first object is then copied to the

second.
