Be sure that the small ends of the springsare towards the inside of the hub. Move the quickrelease lever to the open position and install thewheel in dropouts. IMPORTANT: Be sure that thewheel is all the way up in dropouts. The top of theaxle should make complete contact with the top ofthe dropout slot.Front Wheel(Left side of bike)With the wheel correctly installed in the dropoutand the quick release lever in open position,tighten the adjusting nut in a clockwise directionuntil it is snug against the dropout. Now tryclamping the lever closed. You should feelresistance approximately half way between theopen and closed positions of the lever. If you donot, open the lever and tighten or loosen the nut asnecessary.
