Morgan Stanley is facing disciplinary action because it said key e-mail messages were destroyed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks, but reportedly did not disclose that the backup records were intact.

Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse and AIG Technologies have already signed up for the SUSE Linux enterprise subscription certificates Microsoft is offering under its recent, controversial deal with Novell.
No Microsoft software seats were lost under the three agreements, the company says.
