Backup once was considered more important than restoration. Now, the tides have turned. Today's IT administrators are not only concerned about backing up and storing data, but they also want to know how to get it back - fast.
What is CDP? Continuous data protection is a storage system in which all organization data is backed up whenever any change is made. In effect, CDP creates an electronic log of complete storage snapshots - one storage snapshot for each incident of data modification.
This fairly recent but not entirely new technique allows users to dial back in time and retrieve data that might otherwise have been lost. With current and future products, end users can retrieve files on their own and recover data without losing the time it would take to contact IT, request the files to be retrieved and wait for the response. As with any storage or backup solution, users need to determine what information is vital to keep the organization up and running should a disaster occur.
Please join us to learn more about how you can move to the next level of not only protecting your data, but getting it back fast. Our speakers will provide you with the insight and details to make a difference for your business tomorrow!
