The Army will use RFID to track the medical records of

thousands of personnel stationed at Texas' Fort Hood and their

dependents.

3. RFID Update: The Stuff Just Proliferates

 

VeriChip announced July 17 that Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield

in New Jersey is sponsoring a two-year study that will have 280

patients injecting VeriChip's chip under the skin of their arms.

The goal: to see if the chip is useful in managing long-term

health care conditions like epilepsy, diabetes, heart disease

and organ transplants.
